John C. Wylie, E.I.
John C. Wylie's career includes Bachelor of Science degrees in Physics and Applied Mathematics from Mansfield University and a Master of Science in Structural Engineering from North Carolina State University. Mr. Wylie is currently working toward becoming a licensed professional engineer. Mr. Wylie's graduate research included the experimental testing of un-reinforced masonry walls strengthened with orthogonal near-surfaced mounted carbon fiber-reinforced polymer strips subjected to out-of-plane loading.
Mr. Wylie's principal areas of practice are in deficient construction, structural analysis, and collapse and damage investigations. Mr. Wylie's experience includes failure analysis of a wide variety of building envelope and roof systems. Mr. Wylie's projects have included analysis of deficient construction cases including roofs, exterior walls, windows, structural framing, and building code review.
