- Forensic Engineer
Current Openings
Construction Science and Engineering, Inc. (CSE) has an immediate
opening for a qualified engineer, to perform forensic investigations
on existing buildings. The successful candidate should be a
licensed engineer, with a minimum of three (3) years of experience.
Specific experience in forensic engineering, property condition
assessment, building codes and failure analysis is preferred.
Registration as a RRO, RRC or RWC is desirable, but not required.
The available position will require travel to locations in the
southeast U.S., but primarily in SC. Applicants must be able to
perform visual surveys of existing buildings, determine the extent
of defects and/or damages, perform basic research, prepare written
reports and repair scopes. Expert testimony may also be required
in cases involving litigation.
Salary will be competitive and commensurate with experience
($60,000 to $100,000). The available position includes excellent
benefits such as a 401K; performance bonuses; and medical,
dental, life and disability insurance.
