Burgess Metcalf received his Bachelor of Science in Design degree from Clemson University and then returned to Clemson University where he obtained a Master of Architecture degree. Mr. Metcalf is currently a registered architect. In design, Mr. Metcalf has worked on several project types, including single-family residential, contemporary and traditional church facilities, retail projects, and additions and renovations to higher educational facilities. Additionally, Mr. Metcalf has provided construction administration, produced construction drawings, developed design and schematic drawings, prepared master plan documents and provided construction administration services. Most recently, Mr. Metcalf has performed research related to compliance of existing structures with building code requirements, accepted industry standards and manufacturer specifications. Additionally, Mr. Metcalf has participated in field investigations of damaged structures and documented as-built conditions of existing buildings via destructive testing..
